Annual Owners Dinner 2012

The owners dinner for 2012 will take place on Saturday 8th December 2012, we are not able to confirm the guest speaker to date but hope to do this by mid-January.

Chef is busy planning the menu and this will be online around mid-January also.  We have however left last year’s menu online for you so that you have a good idea of what culinary delights to expect.  The price will again remain £85.00 per person based on a residential package.

The Annual Owner's Dinner includes:

    • Welcome drink and canapés
    • 3 course sumptuous meal followed by coffee and fudge
    • ½ bottle of wine per person
    • Guest speaker – to be confirmed
    • Live entertainment
    • A warming bowl of Stovies for those requiring some sustenance later in the evening
    • One night accommodation

    Sweet Potato and Spinach Soup
    Topped with cinnamon coated croutons

    Terrine of Kinlochranoch Smoked Meats
    Served with Continental salad leaves and a ragoût of plum chutney

    Smoked Rainbow Trout and Horseradish Salad
    Flavoured with fresh herbs, wedges of lemon and edible flowers

    Main Courses

    Prime Fore Rib of Aberdeen Angus Beef
    Gently roasted with fresh garden herbs and coated in a wild mushroom and Madeira wine glaze

    Baked Fillet of Shetland Salmon
    Topped with a sun blush tomato and spring onion crust and set on a rich tarragon and white wine cream

    Caramelised Red Onion and Vegetable Filo
    Finished with goats cheese and salad with a rich tomato concassê

    Honey roasted parsnips, lemon and herb glazed carrots
    Rustic ratatouille of vegetable and roast rosemary potatoes

    Desserts

    Raspberry and Vanilla Crème Brûlée
    Served with boozy brambles, chantilly cream and all butter shortbread

    Cheese Selection
    Black Crowdie, Dunsyre Blue and Anster Cheddar served with celery sticks, fresh fruit, wheat wafers and a small shot of port
