Kilconquhar Castle Estate Limited operates from the historic 130 acre estate of Kilconquhar near Elie in the East Neuk of Fife.

Together with the existing seasonal ownership and rental properties we can also offer the opportunity to purchase a holiday home outright for your family or company.

The homes are detached properties set in the policy park of the estate.

The homes are fully maintained by the Management Company for the payment of an annual fee which also includes a leisure charge element (dependant upon the size of property).

A three bedroom, three bathroom house extends to over 2000 square feet, and can be completed with furnishings and decoration in a “ready to move in” condition.

Kilconquhar Castle is world renowned for providing holiday accommodation, and to maintain the ambience of the estate, these homes can only be used for holiday accommodation.  To ensure this, the title is vested in a trustee and the missives contain restrictions as to use.

The house cannot be continuously occupied for a period over 26 weeks by the same person.  The Management arrangement is mandatory.  A minimum of two weeks per annum cannot be occupied.  This is for Maintenance purposes.  Purchasers must enter undertakings that the use of the house is for holiday accommodation only.

Residents in the house will have use of the facilities on-site which include two restaurants, swimming pool, shop, gym, putting green, golf driving range and indeed an en-site riding stable.

We also offer the facility to rent out your property through our very successful Reservations team, who have many years experience in the market and a loyal customer base.

We have availability for one, two, three or four bedroom houses, which can be designed internally to your own specifications.

The houses will be prepared each time for your arrival, with the heating on, fresh laundered linen and with no worries over maintenance.

In addition we provide a concierge service via our Reception for any information or bookings required during a period of occupation.

With this level of service and facilities you can see the rental benefits to you, as opposed to a conventional holiday home, say in Elie.  Indeed our season is longer and we attract a higher level of rental fees than a comparable size holiday home without facilities.

An initial indicative price for a three bedroom fully furnished property, to the highest standard, would be £550,000.
